Popularly known as Renu Mondal or Renu Ray  is a melodious singer like Legendary singer Shri Lata Mangeskar, from Ranaghat a small place in West bengal born in 10     October 1960 is a overnight singer superstar by uploading of a video which went viral overnight in the Internet. She used to sing songs in the platform of Ranaghat Railway station.Ranu Ji was married to Babul Mondal of Mumbai and she shifted to Mumbai after her marriage.She was very poor though having a own daughter.

   

   Singing journey of Renu started when she was 20 years old and she  used to sing in       a club.Later she get married to Babul Mondal and shifted to mumbai.Later after the death of her husband she started singing in the railway station which was unacceptable by her daughters.While having a house she used to live day and night in the platforms of Ranaghat station and there she used to sing songs of Lata Mangeskar and in return she would get some food or some amount of money.

After few years she met with a engineer named Atindra Chakraborty who heared her singing soulful song "Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai" near the platform area.Later he approached her to sing a song for him and will film it and in return he would give her food to eat.

Soon the filmed video went viral overnight and became so popular in the internet.Gradually she became internet sensation and many bollywood celebraties started sharing her video in their profile.

Which resulted she was invited as a special guest in a TV reality show "Superstar Singer" where she met Himesh Reshmaniya and after hearing her Mr.Himesh Reshmaniya offered her to sing a song in his upcoming film"Happy Hardy Heer".

The song "Teri Meri Kahani" gave her a huge break in bollywood and started trending all over in the social media platform like Tik Tok,Instagram,Facebook etc.

Now her daughter also accepted her and according to me for a mother getting her child back is much more important than anything else in this world.

Now she is a popular playback singer and many music composers,directorsand producers are approaching her and news are also coming that her biopic is going to be made.And Salman khan is going to gift her a apartment in mumbai where she will live her rest of the life.
